剧情分为两个部分：一边是一个神秘的女人，即将步入结婚礼堂；一边是一个有轻度自杀倾向的音乐工作者，被阴错阳差地关进了精神病医院……电影交错展现了两个主人公生活中的片断，似乎毫无关联的故事和人物，可又时时联系到一起。一个沉浸在痛苦的回忆中的女人和一个纷扰不断的男人。在影片中，那个独立成功的女人将慢慢走向封闭，而 “被囚禁”的男人却不知不觉地走向了自身的解放。
